I’ve tested a lot of Minecraft mods that sound cool on paper but feel kind of forgettable in-game. Sodium Extra Mod (FX, FPS Performance for Minecraft) is more interesting than that, mostly because it actually changes how the world feels instead of just adding random clutter. The Minecraft Sodium Extra mod for 1.21.10, 1.21.9, 1.21.8, 1.21.7, 1.21.6, 1.21.5, 1.21.4, 1.21.3, 1.21.2, 1.21.1, 1.21, 1.20.6, 1.20.5, 1.20.4, 1.20.3, 1.20.2, 1.20.1, 1.20, 1.19.4, 1.19.3, 1.19.2, 1.19.1, 1.19, 1.18.2, 1.18.1, and 1.17.1 to 1.16.5 seeks to introduce most of OptiFine's eye-candy choices for Sodium, as well as certain features (like 2), such as visual bug fixes and other performance settings that Sodium doesn’t currently have.
