I’ve tested a lot of Minecraft mods that sound cool on paper but feel kind of forgettable in-game. BoilingWater Mod (Water Boiling, Cooking in Minecraft) is more interesting than that, mostly because it actually changes how the world feels instead of just adding random clutter. The Minecraft Boiling Water Mod adds realistic water boiling technology so you can wait and cook all your raw food by throwing it in single water as if you were cooking in the same cauldron.

If the water is two blocks above the fire, this mod causes it to boil. Boiling water damages entities; thus, it may be used as a trap, and it also cooks food put into it, but it takes longer than a furnace.
