I’ve tested a lot of Minecraft mods that sound cool on paper but feel kind of forgettable in-game. Paintings ++ Mod (Painting Plus for More Paints) is more interesting than that, mostly because it actually changes how the world feels instead of just adding random clutter. The Minecraft Paintings ++ Mod (Fabric and Forge Compatible) adds more paintings to the game! Customizable with up to four templates and a selection of 70 to over 300 new artworks.

Paintings ++ Mod (Painting Plus for More Paints)

Paintings++ reads special painting JSON files when the game starts up, allowing for the insertion of a limitless number of paintings.

This has a few drawbacks, especially for servers, because connected clients must match up the painting registry and hence require the same painting packs as the server.
